The 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards are just around the corner, set to kick off the New Year’s awards season. This prestigious event will take place live from The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 5, 2025. The highly anticipated awards show will see comedian Nikki Glaser taking center stage as the host, following her performance at Netflix’s The Roast of Tom Brady.
The Golden Globe nominations were revealed in late 2024, with Netflix leading the way with 23 TV and 13 film nominations. The highly buzzed-about film Emilia Perez, starring Selena Gomez, led the pack with 10 mentions, while the series The Bear claimed the top spot as the most nominated TV show.
When and Where to Watch
The Golden Globe Awards will be aired live at 5 pm PT / 8 pm ET on CBS in the US. For those who prefer streaming, viewers can watch the ceremony via Paramount+ with Showtime (for subscribers). The red carpet coverage starts at 6:30 pm EST / 3:30 pm PST, hosted by Entertainment Tonight’s Rachel Smith and Variety’s Marc Malkin.
